He’s shown some serious flashes of greatness. The 2nd half of the Clemson game was epic.

He likes playing schools from South Carolina in the 4th quarter, apparently Boy comes to LIFE.

Mond is fine and I think he will continue to get better. My post was more about Jimbo being an extremely conservative coach/play caller. I’m not complaining about it, and maybe he will become less so as our talent level increases. I just think it’s something our fans (me included) will have to get used to.

I think until we have that stud receiver that catches everything, the playcalling in the red zone will stay

A big punishing running back and a stout possession receiver

One of two things, either would work:

A better secondary. With this, several Aggie lifespans wouldn't have been shortened on Saturday when USC kept dropping all those long balls.

A more consistent offense. I realize this is broad but damn we just can't find a groove this year. Clemson is the only game I've been satisfied with our offense.

Other than sailing the occasional pass I think Mond is better than fine. I actually saw a comment on TexAgs, "Let's face it, Kellen is no JFF". Well, no shite! That's a brilliant observation. Who is???

Our DB's scare the crap out of me. Will probably be OK against MSU and Auburn, but against Ole Miss? I can see that terrible team putting up big numbers against our pass defense. And I'm afraid that they'll make Joe Burrow look like a Heisman contender just like they did with Danny Etling.

The thing about Ole Miss is that their defense is HORRIBLE...I mean worse than Torbush and Snyder's worst defenses put together bad.

Finest is right, Ole Miss has a terrible defense, we will only let their offense on the field once per quarter, our drives well last eight minutes apiece

Our secondary

We could beat MSU and Auburn as is, and Ole Miss is terrible at everything except passing the ball so we can probably win a shoot out, but LSU will be damn near impossible to beat if we can’t defend their downfield play action game.

I tell you one thing that needs to be missing is Jon Bible from the replay booth.

I seriously don’t give a shite about anything this year except beating fricklsu. But the force is strong with O and his boys right now. Unless something changes, not optimistic about that game. fricklsu.

I would love for us to both go into that game 9-2 and it effectively be for a Sugar Bowl birth.

Then we play Texas in NO and win by 30

I wouldn’t even need a vasectomy, I’d use up my lifetime allotment of semen.

Our O-Line play is atrocious. For being big, they really are terrible. Our secondary is also very suspect.

Those are our big weaknesses.

It doesn't help that both Sutherland and Lanfear are hurt. McCollum is 3rd string for a reason.

Everything about that kid’s recruitment was so shady, he’s one of the few misses I don’t fault Sumlin on. Especially now that Ole Miss did get charged with a bunch of violations it’s obvious they probably offered him some extra to commit to them like a lot of other players.

I realize your comment was just a generalization that we need a better o-line, but I just wanted to say I’m not overly disappointed on missing out on him specifically.

We have had some poor o-line recruiting as of late, hope that starts to improve.
