-Where will Chavis's first defense end up?

I am expecting somewhere between 25-50. Part of this is Chavis but part of this is the talent gap has closed quite a bit in the last few recruiting cycles.

Will our offensive line be better as a unit?

Hard to tell but I think they may. Something was wrong on OL last year, don't know if it was Harrison's attitude or Cedric struggling at LT or just something else but they underperformed. We have a very solid 2 Deep of talent so I expect good results here.

What group do you expect to be most improved?

Safety. If for no other reason the bar is so low because for the last 2 years we seemed to give up at least 1 Deep TD a game from being out of position and I think the talent level is significantly better.

What rookie will contribute early and often?

Mack followed closely by Evans.

What are we looking to see out of Spring ball?

I don't put much stock in Spring Ball other than the new coaches getting a chance to implement a new system. How about no significant injuries?

Does KM redshirt or even go to the MLB?

Sumlin has said KM won't RS and he can't since he will be at worst the backup. No clue on MLB but I sure hope not.

As for any player from the past?

The 1991 version of Quentin Coryatt. The value of a 6'4, 250lb guy that could run a 4.4 and had one of the nastiest "I love to knock the shite out of people" attitudes I have ever seen on a football field to sit at MLB can't be underestimated.

Some of y'all are forgetting that Sumlin said Kyler would have to see playing time and that shirting him wasn't an option.

He can't take the risk of Kyle getting hurt when we are up 21 in the second half against a scrub team. And he also can't take a chance of Kyler having zero game experience if Kyle gets hurt.

Like I said, go watch his interview on signing day again.

Fair enough I must've missed that video of Sumlin.

My Ag from the past would either be Dat because well he is Dat or my dark horse would be Lester Hayes. Would need to see this years D and see which unit needed something the most.

New question. If you could take a current Aggie and put them on any team from the past who would it be?

I think I would go with Speedy as flanker for that 75 team. I think if things had gone different that year it would have spelled a long time of success for us.

Thinking 40 to 50. The cupboard is far from bare on defense.

- Will our offensive line be better as a unit?

Yes, much better. Think there is going to be a a concerted effort to restore some of the power running game. 3rd and short was pretty much a disaster for us last year. Don't know how many times we tried to run wide or throw because we couldn't pick up a single yard running on 3rd and 1 or 3rd and 2.

Freshman impact? - I will go with Mack

Sophmore impact? - I think Alaka is going to come on like a beast. Guy was making huge strides late in the season.

Kyle Allen. 2003-2005 as coach. Kyle would not force Reggie McNeal to run the option and ruin his career.

Can I put Chavis on the 2012 team staff so we win a national title that year?

Christian kirk is ready to go.

An aggressive defense that dictates the game instead of waiting and reacting.

Kyler throws 10 td's next year.

Biggest thing I am looking for is improved play from the OL.

Improved run blocking = improved running game = improved offense in clutch SEC games

The Christensen hire was a definite need, and I like his pedigree

Jeff Granger

Really a no-brainer. With Stubblefield out, we need a friday night starter and it would give us depth at QB

I'm not making any predictions on defense until we get through the Fulmer Cup season

Lol so true, and also so sad.

I hope we don't win that award this offseason.

Also, the defense doesn't play in a vacuum. SEC West offenses only return Brandon Allen and Dak Prescott as starting QBs. LSU doesn't count and we don't play ourselves. We play Vandy and USC from the East so we might not face a lot of high power offenses, not that that hasn't stopped us from making the other team look like one in the past.
