He left when Sherman was fired and went to be Sherman's OL coach when Sherman was hired by the Dolphins.

Supposedly, Mike Evans (who was discovered by Turner), Jake Matthews and Luke Joeckel all contacted Sumlin to advocate for Jim Turner.

Sounds good, but I'm not getting my hopes up.

I thought that was Tom Rossley and Turner was who found Evans.

Yeah that's right I always forget about rossley

For now : my reaction and thoughts are simple. Excellent hire - I didn't think Sumlin would, in his position, rehire a man he let go a few years ago. That took balls - and am confident that if he is willing to do that - we need to give him a few more years. Very impressed.
