. Personnel are a little more concrete and clean cut.

I'd conduct a DDoS on his printer to keep the note cards from being made

I don't really respect anyone any more even if they are an insider, but it's fun to speculate and get hints into the program.
He was 100% on coaches, and 40% on signing day recruits, which is an absolute crapshoot even for recruiting.
It seems like LSU got shut down by fisher, and realized they'd be crucified if they hired anyone else.

Not so fast my friend. Rojo was right after he was wrong, and by the time he posted the Chavis claim, most employees in the building probably knew.
It's possible he knows an AD employee or former player who hears stuff, and he posts whatever he hears. Even as a lowly TMF student employee back in the day, I heard rumors that eventually proved true, but we all valued our jobs more than internet fame. The threat of being fired for posting shite on the internet was rather blunt.

I wouldn't say he was wrong. Foster was coming until Chavis became an option.

This needs to be an avatar.
Incidentally, being in the Information Security field, I would not recommend that anyone have an account on TexAgs just for the lack of safeguards in their user agreement or privacy policy alone, especially if money, AFS, or TMF info is concerned.
If the Athletic Department is coming after 247 posters, unless there's an active NDA signed by those individuals, they open themselves up for some pretty devastating repercussions by doing so.

I have a family member that works in the AD and I hear things but I rarely post them out of respect for that person. The stuff I hear from Jacob or any of the other writers (not Hamm) that I know I will post if they don't specifically ask me not to but even then I don't post very much of it.

That's a prudent reasoning, as you don't want to burn relationships.
Some people prefer to be whistleblowers.

Yup, and good rarely comes of it.

We still are a 7-8 win team. We're just paying more for the wins than we used to.

WatchOle is now throwing a bullshite claim out there that they NEVER give out information on posters because someone is butthurt.
I think most of us know that's a bald-faced lie.

They don't have to give out information now that their accounts are linked to the 12th Man foundation. I'm sure some sort of information is shared between the school and TA servers in order to have that set up in place.
The conspiracy side of me always told me that both TA and A&M have always wanted to have the ability to know who was posting what. There's a reason why students now get Premium for free. It isn't because TA is feeling generous, that's for damn sure. Start keeping tabs on Aggies on line as soon as they become Aggies.

I don't know why anyone who wants any shred of anonymity would ever get an "Ag Tag" on that site.
After I got permabanned in 2012, I basically, in no uncertain terms, told Andrew and Brandon to remove all traces of identifying information from my account profile so that it wasn't visible by anyone. After protesting that no one on their staff would use the information in a retaliatory way (which is a lie), they complied.

Damn. What did they do?
I've also been permabanned on Texags. Ag tag and all last year

"They did so" = they did what I asked them to do and removed all traces of my digital footprint from the site.

I will never link anything to that site. Don't care about ag tags or anything else.

I'm not a fan of Hamm, but he just blew it wide open on their recruiting chat:
quote:
I could be here all day answering this one but I'm not going to get overly detailed publicly. At least I'm going to try not to...
First and foremost, they need to quit operating so paranoid. No one in the A&M media is out to get anyone nor are we trying to undermine their efforts to build a championship program. I mean, I run a Texas A&M football recruiting website and growth correlates with a winning program. MAKES ZERO SENSE. I know every single writer, owner, recruiting analyst etc in this market and sans Brent Z, who's married to an Aggie, we've all graduated from this University and we're all molded from the same maroon and white moral fiber. Get to know us better, be flexible and understanding with the give and take of information, don't play favorites, don't take things so personal if you don't agree with something written, said on the radio or posted on a message board and let the best man win the power struggle for information. Finally, quit trying to control the message. You're not going to.
A&M just doesn't have a lot of talented recruiting assistants in my opinion. It's a good Ol' boy group right now and a few have been carried over from the Sherman era. They have personal relationships with one outlet and are not operating in the best interest of A&M. They need to get guys that "get it" and just want information that will help out the coaches and they also need to be willing to give it back in return. Also, back to the paranoid point, what we post here has little to no impact on recruits. That goes for all recruiting sites. Now, a prospect or their parents may read something from time to time and ask the staff, "hey so and so is saying this," but they need to understand that in this day and age, that comes with the territory. Yes, these coaches now get paid to put out flames at times. It is what it is and many outlets are responsible for this happening each and every recruiting cycle. Deal with it. Let us know what is causing the issue and we'll work with you and the prospect. There are times where we post information that perhaps the staff doesn't want out there but we're not mind readers. We don't know every detail going on in the war room. Also, if you're not going to communicate with us about certain things, you have no right to get pissed off. You can't have us operate under the "oh you should know better" line of thinking. That's not how successful businesses work.
Finally, just be hospitable and quit thinking we're the bad guys. Heck I've seen A&M SIDs make a woman reporter in this market cry for not being treated fairly and not given the same access as another site. It was disgusting. It can be very catty behind the scenes in the AD. So many people talking behind each other's backs. I don't have time for all that so it's one reason why I don't give a damn. It doesn't hurt our product. There was an agenda against us that I have 100-percent proof of but why did that happen? Because we didn't spin things for you? If I'm sharing stories, I had a former assistant call me the morning of the Ole Miss game in 2012 complaining about an update I posted on a prospect who said his No. 1 school was Ohio State. All I did was report what he told me. The kid ended up signing with Ohio State but I was supposed to spin things and sacrifice my credibility. Get out of here.
I've probably said too much but that's the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Perhaps that's what A&M is scared of. Sad.
