How in the flying frick do you guys say that Kennedy needs to go but then turn around and want to retain Stansbury?

You can't say that coaching is the issue and then want to hand the reigns to an assistant coach on the squad. He is just as responsible as the HC for what all happened.

Assuming he: 1. Doesn't have Parkinsons and 2. Flips shite on the sidelines

I sware those are the two attributes A&M fans are looking for right now.

Assuming this class stays in tact, we will make the tourney next year and in all likelihood as a decent seed. With a new coach that doesn't have the fanbase against him, there will be excitement, whether he's even a good coach or not.

I'm going to say something slightly controversial but I think Texas A&M made BCG as much as he made us. He walked into a great situation. We desperately wanted a winner and he inherited a team with just the right talent. That talent responded to him and we started winning.

I can't stand that so many people want this. Some energy yes, but it doesn't need to be Frank Martin / Bobby Knight craziness.

Really can't wait to see the top 5 recruits coached down to their lowest potential and lose in the first round next year.

There's no way we will fire him. Don't think its worth it if Stansbury would be the replacement anyways

Per Brent Z, Shaky wants the tournament expanded.

I felt bad because I 'd at first (connect the dots and you'll know why)....but then I figured out you were talking about SEC Commissioner Sankey.

The more I think about it, the more I agree with this statement. Stansbury was the type of coach that would get MSU to the tournament, but would stall in round 2. Its the vicious Rick Barnes cycle of mediocracy. Not good enough to win, but not bad enough to fire.

I hope we can money whip one of these Big East/basketball school coaches that show promise.

Where is the "deserves more time" arguement coming from. 4 years is more than enough when you took over an ok program. Its not like he took over an 0-16 program or a program coming off major penalities. He took over a program with good facilites and enough talent on the roster to at least be a bubble team year 1.

I totally agree. EH needs to fire Kennedy. After 4 year we've seen what a horrible coach he is. And it was on display the last 3 games - front and center.

The man makes more money in one year than many of us will make in an entire lifetime and never takes responsibility for a loss, ALWAYS blaming his players.

The Parkinson's excuse doesn't apply anymore.

So... he makes a lot of money, has a less than desirable coaching performance, so make fun of his medical condition.

Got it!

The 2 are very different things. You should probably back off.
