If anybody is bothered by their post being linked like that please let us know. We just want to highlight excellent insight and write ups like what WP posted.

It's a weird situation. While it would be great for this place to keep growing, we all want the vibe to stay the same. Nobody wants tArk to turn into the Zoo.

think we're safe really. With tRant next door to take your frustrations out whenever you feel the need, I think it will keep this place different. I like the idea of highlighting it but honestly right now we have very few followers.

IMO, we need to find ways to provide unique twitter content that is worth reading. That will generate followers which will make directing traffic here more valuable. As it is, we're mostly directing ourselves here

I noticed it picked up about 10 followers in the past day or two. The tweets like this,

quote:

tAggyArk™ ?@AggyArk Feb 23

#LSU commit Dylan Moses at #TAMU JR day RT @Explicit_scene3 Just got offered by Texas A&M, I loved it here!! #GigEm

,seem to be really popular and get a lot of retweets and attention. We also need to keep retweeting tArk from our personal twitters so more Aggies will see it.

Yeah, I think pictures help a lot. They get retweeted. But just tagging people in posts helps. This sort of thing.
quote:

@AggyArk 22m
@tylerstubblefi1 has 8 Ks on the night, a career high. Aggies still leading 5-0 in bottom of the 6th. #AggieBaseball

If Tyler were to retweet it later, it will get a lot of Ag views. I wouldn't want it to be every post. That would get annoying on their end. But every now and again is probably a good idea.

Btw, back to the topic at hand, I was concerned that one of our recruits retweeting a comment that we should legalize weed in BCS so we don't lose recruits to Boulder

No problem with it at all. I'm not an attorney in the case, just giving my best guess as to what is going on behind the scene. Y'all know that so we good den

Any ideas of when we will hear about punishment?

With how slow the Brazos County DA works, I wouldn't expect to hear anything until at least Fall practice.

Yeah it took em over a year to give me a trial date when I caught my last case. They are generally pretty slow.

But doesn't Hyman punish these guys no matter what? I know that is different than the legal, or even university, punishments. Seems like he will do something directly.

I'm not sure that he can really do much beyond suspending them until they get a clearer picture of what happened and see what the DA is going to do.

You don't want to kick a guy off the team or punish him and then see the charges get dropped, unless there is a history of this type of behavior.

Weed laws notwithstanding, what's up with these clowns? I've never used weed, so I don't know what the BFD about it is, but I do know that it's illegal and a violation of either NCAA policy or team rules. I just can't imagine it being good enough to risk incarceration, loss of a scholarship, or a potential NFL career over. If nothing else, these guys should put the welfare of the team over their desire to get high.
