Same could be said for our RBs.

QB play is sooo much more important than RB play.

Agree. Steele just might give up 70 points - in the first 5 or 6 games.....
Meanwhile, I know he won't be copying Chavis' famous "Last-two-minutes-of-each-half Double Secret Prevent Defense."

My heart smiles when I see Tigers throw their support in for Kevin Steele.

I think we'll be far better on O than y'all, but y'all will still outperform us at the RB spot. Which shouldn't be a surprise, tbh, given the respective school's styles of play

well somehow LSU keeps beating aTm with much lesser QB play, even in the years your defense wasn't a pile of dog shite.

And I'd say defense is more important than anything, and LSU has much more talent in that department, especially in the secondary, which is what has driven Chavis' defenses for years. Yalls secondary is not very impressive.

I think when Harris is in the game we will see the offense open up more. But definitely will be a run heavy team.

Myles Garrett did. No reason Daylon can't.

Garrett won't even have half the sacks he had last year. Chavis' system simply won't allow it.

I'm very excited after seeing interviews with players that Steele and O are making this a more attacking defense. I miss sacks.

His defense may have given up 70 points (7 of which were a fumble recovery for a td) to the 13 best scoring offense 3 years ago. But aggy players gave up 59 points to the 16th ranked scoring offense of the year, just last year.

Steele has new/better players this year..Aggy still has most of the same shitty players as last year. The coach can only help them so much.

Yalls offense may be better than LSU's, but it's certainly not a bragging point.

I agree, its not a bragging point now. We had too many setbacks this year to be confident everything got fixed in a single offseason.

I think it is almost pointless to compare the LSU and A&M offenses, they seem to have completely different philosophies.

Meh. Y'all got lucky in 2012 and in 2013 and 2014 our defense was the worst in the league. Now that we have a vastly superior defensive coordinator we should beat y'all more often than not.

Why? Snyder's system called for defensive lineman to engage and let the linebackers make plays. Chavis has the defensive lineman constantly rush up field. Nothing you're saying is based in reality.

Okay. Go ahead and explain how Snyder's system allows for pass rushers on the defensive line to be more successful than Chavis's. You have the floor.

This thread was hilarious for 3 pages.

LSU rantards have relaxed a little bit lately. I kinda miss the meltdown threads tho...

I don't know shite about Snyder's system. I'm telling you that Chavis will have Garrett dropping into coverage and standing straight up to contain a lot more.

Is this the guy you expect to have 100 sacks this year?

Good thing #7 was there to help out or he would have been on his arse much earlier than later.
