He's not a guy that sucked at sports but played fantasy football as a ------- generic major in college & did as told while moving up Ath Dept ranks. I like that. Rhule was a good hire. If Bolt is recruiting decent in baseball then that w Childress was a good hire. I don't know anything but will chime in later w stronger opinions no doubt. I'm more concerned with how many delay of game penalties Klein will average per season.

As long as he can get the baseball facility done right and somewhat quickly, I like the hire.

I’m over here laughing at some posts someone on TA Premium dug up from years ago. Just like when Gabe Bock ran down Jimbo over the crab legs fiasco, and then got called out when we hired him, liucci didn’t have a good opinion of Alberts. Difference is Bock was posting to twitter publicly and these liucci comments were just on the football board, but it’s still funny.

“Trev Alberts is my least favorite ESPN personality.”
“Someone needs to remind that boob that he was a complete bust as a professional football player”
“Send this message to Trev’s email: Trev is a complete moron who simply likes to hear the sound of his own voice”

Overall seems like Nebraska folks aren’t happy to lose him and that was his Alma Mater so hopefully he will be a good hire. Anything that isn’t letting the head football coach pick his own AD is an improvement.
