He's now missed:

3 extra points
4 field goals

When you miss 7 points worth of kicks in one game and lose by 5, you've got a BIG problem.

We need to start doing what Oregon does (the surprise 2-point conversion crap)

We knew this was a weak spot. I say ride this out this year and see if he can correct his course. He'll of a leg, and that is hard to walk away from.

Neither Bullock, Szymanski, or Kyle Bryant were this shaky as a freshman.

Bullock was pretty much automatic within 40 yards his freshman year.

Szymanski had a problem with kicks getting blocked.

None of them sucked as badly as Bertolet within 35 yards.

Szymanski 40% his freshman year and 60% his next year. Then he transfered.

Randy was always pretty good, but then again he's a Rudy Guy award winner. Hard to expect that from every kicker.

Ray Guy award is for best punter. Lou Groza award is best kicker.

Still don't understand Sumlin making numerous excuses for this guy... he's just not dependable.

you guys really don't see this? It's called coach speak. He's our kicker whether Sumlin talks good or bad about him. He's pressing and needs confidence.

When you shank PATs.. there is a problem.

I just don't get it.. Does he miss them in practice or something? How would he still be on the field if he is kicking them in practice?

I hope he comes around soon. I'm on the edge of my seat for every kick......hmmm ....same happens on the return side with Harris. Oh well, lets see if the fish jitters go away starting with the Grinders
