Pending Alabama's coaching hire, every single coach in the SEC West now individually has more NCAA tournament appearances and wins than Billy Kennedy does in his entire career.

This thread is bitching about Hyman and his inability to recognize when he needs to hire a coach.
In the last two years alone, he failed to get Buzz Williams, Bruce Pearl, and Ben Howland when clearly available.

I would be shocked if Bama gets Marshall. The coaching carousel seems very thin this year on top jobs, I imagine he will stay put. He has a great gig at Wichita where he can afford to wait for a KU, UNC, UCLA type opening to come up

I can't remember if he turned down UCLA or not honestly. Wichita is a good enough job that he can wait for a blue blood program that he wants to go to. He's getting 1.75 mil right now and I imagine can get more with the Koch brothers funding that program. He's shown he can seriously contend for a championship there. I don't see why he would leave for a Bama or even Texas type program. I would be sitting there waiting for Roy Williams to retire if I were him

Conference sports are a zero sum game. If Stats starts winning more, those wins have to come from somewhere. Put another way, a conference rival just fired a loser, one of the teams our current coach could actually beat, and replaced him with a guy that's made the Final Four 3 different times.
If you can't see how this doesn't come back to us, I don't know what to say.

if this were a news thread you would have a point but if he wants to start a thread about MSU's hire, then talk about MSU's hire. This thread is merely another about Billy Kennedy dressed up with a different title. He's well beyond the point of insufferable even to those of us that agree with him.
RC is 100% correct. With no ignore function on this site, we're at a point that CGSC really should not be allowed to make new topics. He's abusing the privilege. There are more than enough threads already in existence to voice his displeasure about Kennedy.
