Equivalent is 4 strong beers, but yeah caffeine was the killer. They just upped the ABV to 14% (no caffeine, of course).

Wrong, back in the day if I wanted 6 beers at the same time, I'd simply drink 6 beers at the same time. Then chase it quickly with 6 shots of tequila.
