Yeah that one took me a bit to find. It's a joke on the ND v Miami tshirts.

So what you're telling me is that you expect for us to lose vs Texas if we were to play them?

I expect the officiating crew to consist of Cooper Castleberry, Randy Chrystal, John Higgins, and J. Taylor, with Jon Bible in the replay booth.

You don't get it, most of their Games can't be seen anywhere except regionally. Why give them a game bigger than the one with OU?

Out of conference games are usually set up with the visiting team providing the field crew and home team providing the replay booth officials.

Home cooking can go both ways now.

That's a huge myth. The Big12 today isn't the same Big12 we left behind. For example, Texas Tech only had two of their games last season on FSN. The rest of their games were on Fox, FS1, ESPN, ESPN2 or ESPNU.

Not everyone gets FS1 and it's often preempted by soccer on Saturdays.

Now you're just trying to save face. That's a weak arse argument. There is no soccer scheduled on Thanksgiving on FS1 this year.

Any other lame arse excuse for wanting to avoid playing the sips?

FS1 and FSN only gives them a small regional audience

And if anyone thinks they'll stick a game like A&M vs Texas on FSN or exclusively on LHN, then they're out of their minds. This is a rivalry game that pits two powerhouse schools from a powerhouse state.

Y'all are running out of excuses. Put the petty bullshite aside and play the damn game.

It’s BS that I enjoy playing other P5 teams instead of them?

They've already done so with other sports.

FS1 has just 3 million fewer subscriptions (87m vs 84m) on cab/sat than ESPN at this point. This does not include the subs from streaming options such as Vue and Sling. They are no longer a difficult channel to find. Pretty much every major tv provider has them now. Also, most providers now give you access to all of Fox Sports FSN content on their streaming app. It's no longer locked in as a purely regional network.

Since when do soccer matches set to end at 11am run so long they cover up the first part of a football game on FS1 meant to start at noon? Soccer is the one sport you can consistently expect to never frick up the schedule of what follows. Extra time usually runs no longer than 5 minutes a game. Save for a couple random weather delays I've never once seen a soccer match run past it's designated air time. FS1 doesn't even air soccer every Saturday so I'm not sure where you are getting that CFB games are constantly getting bumped for it.

TW is is right. Gone are the days of an A&M-Nebraska game possibly not airing on TV at all. The Big 12 deal is no longer a regional mess.

Is that the last excuse we are going to with?

Play two P5 teams for OOC. One Texas and one generic P5 team. Problem solved.

Next excuse?

How is it not?

Nearly everyone here complains about the 3 cupcake games.

Why would it be a problem to have texas plus another P5 OOC on the schedule every year?

Texas does it. They played Maryland and USC.

As long as the SEC doesn't go with 9 conference games a season, this shouldn't be a problem. It's not like Texas, Colorado, Miami, and Notre Dame are current powerhouses.
