Just want to thank everyone here for helping me set a new personal record today. Thanks to Sumlin and co as well, couldn't have done it without the massive turd you laid yesterday.

What a shiity week,
Harvey completely wipes out our place in Rockport, we still haven't found our roof, looters steal several items we know were there after the first night.
In Laws lose their place in Rockport, there place saw a 12' storm surge and everything left is covered with the mud from the bottom of the bay.
Work from sun up to sun down trying to clean up and salvage what we can at both our places plus the neighbors around us while fighting off skeeters as big as horse flys.
Fighting with multiple insurance companies and FEMA, in laws had coverage with several policies and sounds like most aren't covering as thought. Our's was a older place that wasn't insurable and since we didn't live there full time FEMA is no go so we'll just have to eat the losses.
Walk into my office this morning for the first time in a week and my boss/uncle looks terrible, his wife comes and takes him to the ER and he's in there now with congestive heart failure.
And oh yea, we got in from Rockport about midway through the 3rd quarter Sunday night,

Say a prayer for us, and give to the Salvation Army, they've been life savers while the Red Cross has been MIA where I've been.

Ok, can we please talk about how big of a joke the new on campus hotel is?
$100k for ten years of being allowed to pay for the same room and these things don't have even have a full bathroom or a kitchen like an extended stay hotel? They look like a small room you'd find at a La Quinta decorated by the soulless company that did our awful West Side suites.
This sample room wouldn't even come close to being the nicest room in College Station. Never mind how easy it's become to get a room now that a ton of new hotels were built and all the people renting places out via Airbnb.
These are the kind of rooms I'd expect the OLD on campus hotel to have after a renovation. Not some brand new mega donor center meant to rake in the big bucks.

When there is a 100k license that doesn't include what is guaranteed to be an overpriced per night cost it had better be a little bit nicer than the average hotel room. Again, it should at the very least have a kitchen and a full bathroom like the average extended stay hotel. Any rational BMA is going to laugh at that and continue to just have a parking spot in A lot while bedding down at places like Staybridge and Aloft or even renting out a full house w/Airbnb. The location really isn't so great that it's worth that cost for what is being offered.
