So uh, Tech lost like a billion to a billion - 1 to ASU last week. UTSA is up 21-12 in the 3rd quarter. I'm thinking Tech's defense may be....not good

I hate that the people doing bowl projections are so damn lazy. Jerry Palm and a few others currently have us in the Liberty vs West Virginia which we all know has less than zero shot at happening now that the SEC and schools basically decide where they go in the tier 3 SEC bowls. I know it's early in the season and it doesn't really matter but it's annoying that they seemingly don't even pay any attention when they do these. Hell, Palm has 0-3 Rice (who was blown out by Army) in a bowl right now. 
Is it really too much to ask that they sit down and think about their projections for more than 30 seconds on Sunday morning?

David Bailiff has gone from on the hot seat to a conference title to flat garbage. This is probably his worst Rice team and he has a 2-10 season on record. They look awful. His contract is through 2018 and I'm not sure Rice would fire him just yet but there's definitely grumbling. It's less about the record than the fact that they look so terrible
