YUp. He walked 4. I think we walked like 9 and 10 overall. They took advantage with timely hits. Too many of ours were crushed... right at someone.

Nice dub yesterday to get back to .500 in conference. I want to take the series today!

If there is a better 1 thru 5 in college baseball, I want to see it.

1. Grahovac .333 BA, .453 OBP, .678 SLG, 1.131 OPS
2. LaViolette .321 BA, .495 OBP, .872 SLG, 1.367 OPS
3. Montgomery .378 BA, .510 OBP, .841 SLG, 1.351 OPS
4. Appel .373 BA, .556 OBP, .647 SLG, 1.203 OPS
5. Burton .323 BA, .500 OBP, .678 SLG, 1.131 OPS

I'm old n cranky but seeing guys take balls so much w 2 strikes n then chirp at the ump has gotten old. Grahovic's strike 3 on that AB w the shitload of fouls looked high to me but don't be animated at all

Awesome game by Lamkin.... hoping we see Wansing &/or Wilson Tuesday. I'm trusting that Sdao will find if again.... wish I had faith in Targac. If Schott bunts again I hope Schloss makes him run multiple laps around outside of Bluebell the next day

Update on the Yeskie vs Weiner batter

Season Stats

Lsu
ERA: 4.04 - 27th
WHIP: 1.33 - 27th
K-BB: 2.79 - 25th

A&M
ERA: 2.84 - 2nd
WHIP: 1.12 - 3rd
K-BB: 3.92 - 2nd

SEC Stats (vs MSU & UF for both)

Lsu - 52 Runs Given Up (2 run rules)
A&M - 27 Runs Given Up

Overall, Lsu's pitching is solid and very respectable. However, Weiner clearly made the bigger impact with less talent. He's done such an exceptional job.

Several LSU fans I know had a lot to say when he left for BR. I told them it felt like a win for both teams, I know Schloss wasn’t overly happy with Yeskies job last year. They talked about how if Jay wanted him he must be the best in the business. Recently I’ve heard some pretty aggravated complaints about him and I just can’t help but laugh a little. He’s a good coach but all I can remember from last year is the walks.

look at whos at the top of the league in walks this year.

yeskie may have been a 5 star in high school, but that dont really mean shite now.

We might bury Auburn this weekend if we can take 2/3 or even sweep. They'll be 2-7 or 1-8. They'd basically need to win every remaining SEC series to dig out of it.

Nice dub. Offense kept answering every Auburn run.

Watching how terrible Texas is, and the way that our pitching is inconsistent, I'm beginning to think we have a few warts we weren't aware of until SEC play. It will be an interesting season. Also, Schloss needs to sit Targac or get him an exorcist. Kent is the better player at 2B
