Agree. And USC/UCLA both have rookie OCs, so it makes sense to choose someone more proven
Edit: USC does have the Helton brothers, so that should be a damn good offense in short time

Kid always wanted to be a Sip and was always going to the Big 12. His top 10'consisted of TCU, TT, and OSU. Rumor was always that he really wanted to be a Sip, but they didn't want him. They thought Anthony Hines and Browning would join the class and didn't extend him an offer. Sips put on he press becasue they know they won't get their top targets.
Johnson was really surprised by the A&M offer and everybody was surprised by his early commitment.
