Recruiting is crazy, we weren't even in his top 5 back in Feb. Did any of the sites see this coming? I know Hamm was there to podcast it live, so he must of had some kind of heads up.

I had check what shaggy had to say about this. They are bringing up the fact that back in April Hamm said he had a lot of work to do in the classroom, and that EJ Holland is now coming out saying he was not a take for tu.

We made CeeDee Lamb's top 10. A bunch of SEC schools in the mix.

Alabama, LSU, Auburn, Tennessee, Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Florida, Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

That's good work with the Manvel safety. That gives us a safety and two cornerback commits. The secondary class is coming together.

Would be nice if Turner could close the deal with Creed this weekend. Apparently we're also interested in QB Jack Diamond off his team, too. I think Ole Miss & Memphis have been evaluating him, too.

We might be looking to take 2 QBs this year, with only Hubenak & Starkel left after Knight leaves.

Oh, I didn't miss it.

I think we could use two QBs in this class. Current status zero at that spot. But we have alot of time to rectify that. Probably won't be two big names. Maybe a freshman and another transfer QB?

A&M was always going to take 2 QBs.

We need to start bringing in elite wrs again. By the end of next year all of our starters will be gone.

Well nvm Kirk will have to play one more year so I guess if you're going to have 1 returning starter he's not a bad one to have

I am very pumped about him. He's going to be a play maker.

It depends on your definition of "Elite". If it is 5* then you don't get many of those nationally and that is an unreasonable expectation. You aren't necessarily guaranteed several in any recruiting class. ESPN on rated 9 players 5* last year and none were Wide Receivers.

We have a bunch of talented receivers returning after this season in Frank Inheanacho, Kemah Siverand, Quartney Davis and Clyde Chriss. The coaches were really excited about Kendrick Rogers too.

I'd just like to point out that neither Evans or Reynolds were considered elite when we recruited them.

In fact, out of all of the highly recruited WR's we have signed, only Kirk and Noil have shown flashes of brilliance anywhere in college.

If we are to be brutally honest we don't have a great sample size. I believe A&M has only had 2 years with multiple 5* WRs.

A&M used to be lucky to even get two 4-star receivers on campus at the same time. Before Sumlin I think our most highly touted tandem was Fuller and EZ.

I think RSJ looked a lot better last year. I hope he peaks this season.
