Cam Spence was in Aggieland this week! He is a 4-star defensive tackle going to school at IMG Academy. Coaches are doing work this year!

tOSU is going to have a ridiculous class this year. Relevant bc Hamm put in a CB for Tyjon Lindsey for them. He is a former teammate and basically brother of Tate Martell.

Recruiting has gone full retard since social media became a thing. I have no idea how people can follow this shite and not become extremely jaded. The fact that statistically you pretty much have to be a top-5 recruiting school to win anything of significance makes cfb seem more pointless than it already is, so I understand why people follow it since it is so critical to them being happy with their hobby, but damn.

Plus the fact the same programs suck up most of that talent on an increasing basis makes it worse. College football is for sure a caste system, there is no denying that. I hoped that us going to the SEC would allow us to break our caste, but instead it seems we have reinforced the place of a Bama in the world by giving them access to Texas talent.

My new year's resolution is to not follow recruiting as much this year for that reason.

Free article from 247. Debbie Downers on this discussion have to realize that A&M hasn't been able to host a FNL or Spring game for the past 2 years. The SEC is also the only league that doesn't allow "satellite camps", but this rule may change this year. This is all to negatively impact recruiting, but things are looking up when you can put a list like this together...

Just so we are clear, "not following recruiting" means waiting five minutes to run here after a yessir instead of one minute.

Baylor commits QB Kellan Mond and WR Jhamon Ausbon were on campus today and watched Spring practice. Mond would be a great option in the event Martell flips

Martell is solid or did that change? Sorry I've been watching Oprah and eating bonbons instead of following recruiting ever since the mods castrated me

It wasn't Kellen Mond. It was a 3 star QB from KY.

Tate really wants to be an Aggie. He is going to take some trips with his teammates if he expects them to travel to College Station.

I believe Mond is visiting tomorrow. Hamm just CB'd us to land Santino Marchiol . A 4* LB from the IMG Academy in FL

I'll be skeptical of leads with IMG guys. Where's he from originally?

A&M should have a decent chance of landing a player from Colorado. We have done well in the state in the past. Also,FL is SEC and ACC country. Hopefully, this will influence these kids' decisions.

I also saw that Marvin Wilson, 5-star Defensive Tackle, is coming to FNL.

I'll believe it when after it happens. He would be the 4th player from IMG to visit A&M in the last few weeks (hearing Mond likely won't make it).
