So how many can we actually take? I count 66 non-seniors currently on scholarship.

I think you are correct with 28, bit this will probably be a year that we oversign just like the other schools on our conference and possibly grey shirt some.

247 said we are trending for Damion Miller.

Jhamon Ausbon just flipped from LSU.

There's our outside WR for next year.

Wow thats surprising, but awesome. I would imagine that means Mond is still feeling solid as well.

Who's next?

This class is coming along nicely. Hope we can sway a few more IMG guys. I believe there are a few upperclassmen without a whole bunch of offers that would be great walk-ons too.

Mond, Marchiol, Ausbon, Tucker, Reed, Johnson, Carper, Paul, Jones, and Buckley are all rated 4-star by at least 1 of the major 4 scouting agencies. Both Peevy and Tyree Johnson are going to All-Star games (Army and UnderArmour). They would both be 4 or 5 stars if they had committed to Bama. That is a really talented group that represents half of this class.

Sounds like we are trending for Jarett Stidham and Kendall Sheffield (both former 5-stars) too. Kirk Merritt, the National SPARQ champion, is already on campus with the team and as a transfer will be allowed to start next year.

Les Miles had IMG locked up with Smith and Davis last year and Moses, Delphit, and Ausbon this year. Harbaugh, Sumlin, and Smart made inroads this year after Miles' job was in question.

Sumlin almost pulled Shea Patterson out of there last year, but his brother was offered a job by Freeze.

Nice to know that Ausbon is a close childhood friend of Marvin Wilson.

This is a really big flip. I was unhappy we didn't push Miller because it was feeling like Raegor, Ausbon, and Manning weren't really happening and after the MSU debacle I figured that wouldn't change. Miller was next on our list and so I thought it was risky to wait. Very happy it worked out.

Yeah, Shea Patterson's "dream school" was Ole Miss Just like Greg Little and Tunsil!!!!

LSU hired his brother as a Grad Assistant. Paid him more $$$ to do the same job that he was making at Arizona. Shea decommitted from AZ, but never really felt at home in LA. LSU couldn't close the deal so they didn't get into a "bidding war" with Ole Miss when they offered Sean Patterson more $$$ to be the Associate Recruiting Coordinator (Les Miles job was also in jeopardy).

Shea was still considering A&M, because he wasn't afraid of the competition. He visited Ole Miss during the A&M game last year to make sure that he was making the right decision.
