I did the quick math on the SOS to get to mid 60s but it's a bit difficult without doing everyone's schedule. It's admittedly a swag. Their remaining opponents are like .475 wpct and 9 of 12 at home. But that wasn't even counting the MVC tournament. And that is going to be a drag on them, not a benefit
LINK
If they are 1 - and they need to be for this exercise - they play #8, then #5 then say #5 again (I'm giving them 5 because it's better for them than 4)
8 - SIU 10-35
2 x 5 - Evansville 21-18
then 30-10 Mizz St in final. That's a push at .500 record. Their current SOS is .556 so it actually pulls them down. And that's if it all breaks right and they get the right teams. If they end up playing Wich St (17-26) twice instead of Evansville or Bradley (25-11) vs Mizz St, it hurts them further.
Meanwhile the teams they will be fighting with for spots in the SEC or ACC or PAC are all playing top tier opponents. They need to be well clear before conference tourneys
And yeah, I know what Boyds says but Boyds ignores conference tourneys and I know that's going to hurt them as someone wins (all the ACC and SEC and Pac teams can't lose) and passes them. Teams in strong conferences improve RPI playing in silo. Teams in weak conferences worsen as they play in silo.

Just want to point out that it is 7 degrees colder in College Station than it is in Gettysburg, Pa.

13 in a row for Kent, but #12 was a warning track shot into the wind.

RBI single by Allemand. Close play at the plate goes our way.

Allemand is 2-4 after going .550+ last weekend.
