Clutch performance. Kent showed up Fulmer, big time. If we get performances is the same stratosphere of that from Kent I will feel so much better about making a run in the postseason.

I want to see Tyler come in and get an inning (2?) in Saturday.

Full support for this exceptionally fine quote.
No idea how our season will play out, but it's fun being the team that Nobody wants to play.
Also, after Ryne Birk's mid-season swoon, he's been knockin the shite out of the ball.

So now we just wait for the winner of the Saturday morning game right? Good news is we will have rested arms and they will not I guess. I am surprised Arky fell so easily to LSwho

@RyanBurdick08: So not only does Texas A&M have male cheerleaders, but they blow bubbles when they score runs in baseball.............

We took bubble machines to the tourney?

Or is someone looking at pics from bubble out Blue bell park night? I was there and it was pretty cool, kids had a blast.

Vandy is pitching their #4 today and saving their #2 (another true ace) for us Saturday.

With TCU eliminated. That gives tu and easy path to the finals of the Big 12 tourney. You know if they win it, they're going to be sent to our regional. As long as it's as a 3 and not a 4, I'm good with it.

Same strategy they employed in their last two games, fortunately we hit their ace well.

I don't think we could ask for a better 3 seed. I hope we get whoever wins the B12 tourney.

I think it's a mistake on their part. We've had this issue the last few years where we pitch a pitcher in a regional that hasn't thrown in 2 weeks. It seems like Corbin is gambling for the national seed but I'm not sure even beating us now would be enough for them. They'd probably need to win the tournament.

Them's some high arse standards.
30 appearances (tied for first)
1.41 ERA (4th on the team, but I don't count Gonzalez & Stub as they have less than 2 IP combined and Minter is done for the year)
4-1 record
4 saves (not even really a closer)
Opp BA .192 (2nd best on the team to Sherrod and his 3 IP)
He doesn't have a ton of velocity but he's been the best guy out of the bull pen all year.

No need to freak out.

Outside of Minter and Long we have not had a consistant starter. With Minter going out during week 4 we have tried a number of guys on Saturday and Sunday. WIth Kent's experience and gem he just threw I would imagine he would be our Saturday guy for regionals. This is Vinson's try out for #3 starter. With Hendrix going back to the pen, Ecker still there, and Stub joining them as well RC must feel good about moving his #1 long relief guy to starter's role. Worse case he gets shelled and goes back to the pen. Simonds or Martin take over the #3 and #4 spot with Larkins and Hill being options as well.
