He seems to be wanting to take over being the leader for this class. Glad someone wants to step up and do it.

We really need some more elite O-Line guys.

I agree. I have a feeling that loading up on the skill position guys will become a common theme though

I am ok with loading up on offensive skill guys too.

I think the fact that Texas High School teams run such advanced offenses is one of our biggest long-term advantages over other SEC programs. Offense is the focus in this state, and I think that is a good thing. The Wrecking Crew can stay in the history books as long as we win.

I just fear that if we don't get some more OLs soon then long-term we won't have the ability to maximize those offensive skill players.

We are far behind SEC defenses at A&M with an ncaa ranking last year of our scoring defense ranked at ncaa #76, our special teams ranking even lower and turnovers worse ranked at ncaa #100. (NCAA)

The top SEC teams have three deep with four and five star ranked players.

Under Shermam we signed 88 three star ranked players in five classes while 'bama signed 84 four and five star ranked players, florida 81 and lsu 78 during the same time. A&M was down to 28 four and five star ranked players under Sherman.(R)

Sumlin must sign 11 four star ranked players on D at 11 positions in this class, and repeat in the following 2 classes just to be competitive in the SEC, coach them and build a top defense from scratch.

Today we have 2 four star Defensive Tackles committed and nine more defensive positions yet to get four or five star ranked commits.

Go fast Sumlin!

Smoke Ring, I'm just an Aggie for over 60 years that knows where all the bones are burried.

Sumlin inherits the weakest squad we've had in 20 years.

In my own mind Sumlin has 5 proven experienced offensive linemen and almost no proven winning experience anywhere else going against the SEC teams. RC, Fran, Sherman have a record the last 20 years of winning against mostly unranked teams and losing against most ranked teams.

Sumlin must recruit a big fast athletic four and five star ranked defense and special teams this year and the next couple of years and coach them to have a chance for us to break out of our 20 year pattern of losing to most ranked teams and winning against most unranked teams.

Nice to chat with you.

Didn't you get ip permabanned from TexAgs for using stolen information to get an Ag tag?

Haven't you been outed already as a Baylor fan on numerous sites?

This quote right here shows how full of shite you truly are.

The only Aggie teams in the last 20 years to return more starting experience are (drum roll please):

2002 Aggies (19 returning starters)
2011 Aggies (18 returning starters)
1998 Aggies (17 returning starters)

Let's contrast that to the team that Slocum left Franchione (10 returning starters, but so little depth on defense we had a WALK ON STARTING AT MLB) and the team that Franchione left Sherman (10 returning starters, only 6 scholarship offensive linemen)

Even if he weren't an imposter, his big contribution is that Sumlin needs to recruit "big fast athletic four and five start ranked defense" to win in the SEC.

I'll make sure Sumlin knows that our plan to recruit small, slow, nonathletic 1 and 2 stars is not going to work.

EVERY TIME THE SUMLIN TEN COMMIT ANOTHER ONE,TWO OR THREE STAR RANKED PLAYER OUR STAFF ADMITS FAILURE.

Sumlin inherited a #76 ranked defense, worse ranked special teams, a worse #100 ranking on turnovers and 88 three star ranked players from Sherman which should last us the next 5 years, yet A&M has already this class committed more three star ranked players than four star?

Our position coaches per (texastribune.org) are each paid $200,000 less, half what seven comparable coaches at tu are paid.

Results of our underpaid coaches today show it so far as we have already lost 15 head to heads for recruits and already have 3 decommits this early?(S)

One recent A&M Head Coach complained that he had tried to hire a good recruiter and the BOR and Adminstration would not approve the salary so this is a long standing problem.

What's the difference when you hire coaches for half what tu coaches are paid, bottom tier pay? Well the Sherman 10 hired in 2007 had signed no five star and only 2 four star ranked recruits in the five years prior to their hire. The sumlin ten hired in 2011 had one good recruiting coach signing 3 five star and 8 four star ranked recruits, a second signed 4 four star and a third signed 1 four star while the other four position coached signed zero in the five years prior to their hire.

The difference is of the tu coaches recently hired, three signed 12 each four star ranked players, three more signed 6 each and the seventh coach signed 4, almost four times as many 58 as our bottom tier paid A&M coaches 16.(texastribune.org)

EVERY TIME THE SUMLIN 10 SIGN ANYTHING LESS THAN A FOUR OR FIVE STAR PLAYER IT ADMITS A STAFF FAILURE!

WE need a four star player committed at every defensive position this class to improve our #76 ncaa scoring defense ranking. Sumlin has only 2 four star ranked defensive tackles now with 9 positions to go to fill with four star ranked players in this class?

With what Sumlin inherited a 4-8 record will be over achieving this year, without 11 four star defensive positions filled this year, A 4-8 record will be over achieving the next three seasons.

I appreciate a few Ags mostly younger ones don't like the real unbias always documented truth about A&M football.

AS an old Ag I have learned to always trust but verify anything reported about my A&M Football.

The steps to Sumlin winning are simple:

First recruit four star players for every position. For Gods sake Sumlin, we have almost a hundred two and three star players signed and committed at every position.

Second a year of S&C coaching.

Third coach them at a winning SEC level.

We are at the First Step above at this point today.

Who do we need to talk to about at least having his ability to post as an Aggie removed. He is a known impersonator whose only goal is to make A&M look bad.

If you're an old ag, you'd be able to answer this simple question:

What is so special about the clock on Albritton Tower?

(Ags, do NOT help this fraud out)

We have 2 four star tackles for our defense now.

Who will be our third four star ranked player commit be as Sumlin works to fill the other nine open defensive positions with four star ranked players?
