I think his offer was pulled. Sumlin pretty much said early on that if players were going to consider themselves "committed" they shouldn't be taking visits, which I like.

It was probably as close to being mutual as possible.
That being said I don't really care if it was pulled or he decommitted. Didn't think he was a take.

He's easily replaceable. It might not have been "we are pulling your scholarship for taking other visits", but was probably more like "if you want to take other visits we don't have a committable offer for you right now." Either way I like the precedent that's being set, especially for a borderline guy like him.

LSU has not forgotten the talented receiver, but will have to fight hard to keep the talented player from defecting to Texas A&M. Alonzo Lewis may have more to do with D'haquille in which school he attends when the dust settles.

LSU needs to see his attitude and behavior on and off the field take a 180 to even consider offering

That construction going on at Wellborn and Main is just horrible.
