SEC eats itself this year

not exactly sure what this means. If you mean everyone will have at least one-loss, this is actually pretty normal. Of the 7 in a row, only 09 Bama and 10 Auburn went undefeated (though tbf, 11 LSU did but then...)

major controversy will surround a 1 loss SEC Team playing for the Natty with 2 undefeateds in contention

SELL. I don't think the SEC could jump any undefeated BCS team but Louisville. I think that's the only real possibility. So you'd need another major conference winner going undefeated and Louisville (who is incredibly overrated imo) for it to be even slightly controversial and even then I think people would blame Louisville for their schedule.

Given their weak conference that only has 8 teams, their 5 OOC games are: Ohio, Eastern Kentucky, Kentucky, FIU, and UCF. It's hard to spin that as MNC worthy schedule. Has a team ever played for a BCS title that didn't play a ranked team all year? Quite a few in that same boat have been passed over (Boise, TCU, Utah). So it could happen, but I don't think it would be all that controversial except to the tinfoil hat brigade on shaggy.

A team that starts the year outside the AP Top 25 will make their way into their Top 5 at season's end

Some history for consideration
2012 - Notre Dame and Texas A&M
2011 - no one
2010 - Stanford
2009 - no one
2008 - Utah

Buy

Everyone is tuning in at the start of the second half to see our returning heisman winner back in action.

It's somewhat unfair to answer this now but I'll buy. I think its gonna take Stoops at least two more years of rebuilding before they are even a decent team. Vandy wins 38-10.

Buy/Sell: The NCAA is forced to remove the targeting rule after this season.

Buy and Sell. Sell because they're keep the rule, buy because they will get rid of the ejection part.

It will go the way of the clock rules in 2006.

No. 7 Texas A&M defeating Rice 52-31 at 1 p.m. kicked off the day with a 2.9 rating while No. 12 LSU’s 37-27 victory over No. 20 TCU averaged a strong 1.9 rating.

Buy/Sell: At least 2 ESPN talking heads melt down as a result of Manziel and get fired for going over the line.

SELL. ESPN is not evil and they don't hate A&M. They simply are parlaying Manziel's popularity into ratings. You don't do that by saying "he's really good" over and over. You do that with faux outrage. We are the talk of college football. They are doing the lord's work for us and we're all bitching about it. Embrace it!

To whit, in 2012, the 3 highest rated regular season cable football telecasts:

3.7 rating (10-13 SC-LSU)
3.1 (09-15 Flor-Tenn)
2.9 (09-08 Flor-A&M)

In each case those games were two big schools against one another. SC-LSU were two top 10 ranked schools. Again, those are the 3 best ratings across every single cable channel for the entire year! Texas A&M vs Rice Institute just got a 2.9 rating. Embrace the new paradigm!

Buy/Sell: Clemson runs the table

I would believe you if not for a certain $300 million investment into a school that really doesn't like us.

SELL: Until they show that they can beat Florida State and South Carolina, they're a 1-2 loss team.

Buy/Sell: The BDF Champion will have 2 or more losses.

Sell. I think Oklahoma will back into another Championship losing only to Baylor.

Buy/Sell: Mike Evans goes over 100yds vs Bama

Sell. I think at best he goes for 80-ish. Bama is a team that makes you be remarkably balanced to beat them, and Evans is a known commodity that they'll focus on defending. I think other receivers step up and fill the void left bu the attention that will be paid to Mike.

Buy/sell: Aggies win the turnover battle again against Bama.

Buy. I think McCarron is in worse shape then they are letting on.

Buy/Sell: There will be at least one non-offensive TD Saturday between A&M and Alabama

Buy. Quiv is going to return the 2nd half kickoff for a td. I could also see McCarron throwing a pick 6.

Buy/Sell: Bama game will set the all-time attendance record for Kyle Field.

Sell: Supposedly after the Nebraska '10 game, the fire marshals won't let over 90,000 in attendance happen again until the renovation.

Buy/Sell: Manzeil breaks last year's mark for total yards in one season.

Sell - Manzeil has a great year but I think he doesn't hit either totals (rushing or passing) from 2012.

Buy/Sell: A&M's toughest game outside of Alabama / LSU is Missouri. See schedule for reasoning.

You tell me:

2012 after 2 games: 691 yards in 7 quarters

2013 after 2 games: 575 yards in 5 quarters

I say buy.

Buy or Sell: September 14th is the most lopsided defeat in the history of Texas Football in Austin

Sell. Might be up there but doesn't stand out as opposed to going to OM. Not sold on this Mizzou team yet.

Buy/Sell: A&M wins the SEC west within the next 2 years.
