I never had any issues walking around the Fort in my 6 yrs there. Granted I have had multiple shootings near me but those always revolved around drug dealers getting robbed. But there's 100% nothing to worry about with that area during gamedays. The police presence is astronomically high

Yea I lived in the fort for two years. I never once felt threatened or unsafe. I actually found it to be quite safe honestly. Just a neighborhood with a bunch of college kids

I lived in the fort every year but freshman year. It was awesome, but it just seems like at least 2 or 3 times a week there was a mugging/assault/etc. at 12th & white specifically.

Follow up:
Picked up my tickets today. Actually drove to Nashville to get them from a UT fan there who advertised them for sale. Got 2 good seats and a parking pass.
