Finally, Tennessee did a really good job on a number of fronts this past weekend during its junior day. From a good number of top 2017 prospects on hand, to the 7-on-7 guys who were on campus for just a few hours but were really impressed, Tennessee felt like they had a really good day from those we talked to.
One name the Vols really helped themselves with was Michigan wide receiver Donnie Corley. He's high on the 'wanted' list for Tennessee and this past weekend's visit let him know that. Right now, we really believe Tennessee is in the mix there, most likely with Michigan State. He's set up other visits so there's likely more movement to come, but those two programs seem to have got his attention at this point.

One interesting note from late this week was Florida State defensive end commitment Janarius Robinson confirming a visit to Tennessee for the Orange & White Game. While we've noted several times on the board the past few months, Tennessee has never stopped recruiting the big-time defensive end and while it certainly should be considered a long shot, Tennessee has him listening.

Tennessee is also looking towards Mississippi with some renewed vigor and one name that is really paying attention is defensive back Nigel Knott. Several close to Knott's recruitment have told us that the Madison, Miss., standout has Tennessee as a school he's very interested in after his recent visit.

Wide receiver Mykel Jones wasn't on campus but has Tennessee in his top list of schools and wants to make a stop in Knoxville to check out what all the talk is about.

Just made a Crystal Ball pick for quarterback Jarrett Guarantano (Oradell, N.J./Bergen Catholic) for Tennessee.
Per a source close to the situation, when asked if I should make that pick the reply was "I would."
Guarantano will announce his public decision April 15.
The Crystal Ball now reads 68-percent for Tennessee, 21-percent for Ohio State and nine-percent for Rutgers.

I'm not really worried about RB. I think we will land Emmons and another top back.
Sidenote- I'm not used to us being this picky early in the process. We would normally have 15 commitments atp but Im assuming the class will be pretty small compared to Butch's first two.

Chandler Tuitt
Was Rajon Neal's neighbor

Tuitt said he continues to hear from the Vols on a daily basis, and they’re looking to get him on campus again soon.
“Tennessee’s up there, to be honest with you,” said Tuitt, who’s ranked by 247Sports as the nation’s No. 94 overall prospect and No. 2 offensive guard in the 2016 class. “They’ve been talking to me every day. Me and (offensive line) coach (Don) Mahoney have been talking a lot. He’s a really good coach. I like him.

Jauan Williams

Expect a top ten from Rivals250 offensive lineman Jauan Williams on November 1. Some teams that are good bets to make that cut are Alabama, Ohio State and Tennessee. Williams also said that recent visits to Penn State and Tennessee went well.

Landon Dickerson has yet to lose a rep. Really, really like him.
He and Clemson commitment Sean Pollard will battle it out for OL MVP.

Jeff George
Hubbs

On the wide receiver front, Tennessee continues to look at junior college prospects and a name that's quickly rising up the board for the Vols is Dodge City receiver Jeff George. The 6-foot-6, 190-pound was offered by Tennessee Thursday night and he's someone who's stock could really blow up this spring when coaches get out on the road. Credit Tennessee's recruiting department for finding George early as the only other team to offer thus far is Arkansas State.
Tennessee will likely take at least one junior college receiver in the class of 2016 and he may be a name to really pay attention to as he's the only junior college receiver with an official offer at this point.

regarding Top247 QB Jarrett Guarantano.
Ohio State was my original pick, and I had been on foggy for the past couple months. I wanted to see how his visit to OSU went last week before jumping on the Vols. A source told me Thursday Tennessee was looking good here.
I believe Tennessee gets Guarantano this week and OSU lands Wallace in the near future.
