"It kind of blew me away because it's pretty nice up there," Davis said. "I like it up there. They are definitely in the top five." "I talk to Coach Azzanni and as a matter of fact we're pretty close. We actually talk about 'Prison Break.' That's my favorite show. We just talk about life," Davis said. "That's what I like about coaches. I don't want to necessarily talk about football all the time."

"You know when you go to a place and it feels like family and they pretty much treated me like family and embraced me and all that," Davis explained. "With the coaches, they don't put too much emphasis on the football aspect and it's more about getting to know you. It's not all about football. It's about getting to know you better as a person."

"We talked in (Butch Jones') office and we talked about what my role would look like if I went there," Davis said. "He said I would play wide receiver and they would even put me in the backfield. I'd be a versatile player if I were to go there."

“Tennessee is probably right behind them,” Hamm said Saturday after a junior day in Knoxville. “I like the coaches. I like the facilities. Coach Jones, he’s a pretty good coach. It seems like he cares about family.”

"It’s a lot bigger,” Hamm said of Rocky Top. “I like the facilities. I didn’t really get to see the dorms because I was in a meeting. The coaches are just different.”

"So far I like it. I liked the facilities and everything," Lashley said. "I spent a lot of the time with the offensive line coach, coach (Don) Mahoney. He was use telling me about how much he liked me and that's really it."

"Coach Gillespie was really talking to me and we had formed a relationship and he had just told me how it was and I wanted to see how it was for myself and it was over the top," Lashley said.

"I really liked the facilities. Compared to others it's really nice," Lashley said. "For facilities, they are the best ones that I've seen so far. Just when I first walked in and saw the indoor facility (he liked it)."

"Coach Butch Jones wanted to see me up in his office. So, I went up there and he had already offered me less than a month ago and he just wanted to see me and talk a little football and find some common ground, Lashley said. "We were able to talk about a relationship with me and him."

With Tennessee now back on the open market for a quarterback the search for the Vols' 2016 signal caller starts with New Jersey native Jarrett Guarantano. The 6-foot-3, 200-pound dual-threat quarterback has been to Tennessee twice now under Butch Jones and knows Jones well because of his father. It's worth noting that the Vols continued their relationship with Guarantano even throughout Kendall's commitment. We were able to talk to some people today around his recruitment and Tennessee is certainly in the thick of things along with Ohio State and Rutgers. The connection to Rutgers is pretty obvious, his father Jim, played there (and it's where he got to know Butch) and the family lives about a half hour away. They were the first team to offer him and have made him the centerpiece of their recruiting efforts for the 2016 class for a long, long time. Ohio State has been a top contender for Guarantano for some time as well and he certainly likes the school, but there are scheduled to be six quarterbacks on campus when Guarantano arrives in 2016 so that's something to think about. Also, the Buckeyes already have Danny Clark committed in the class of 2017. But, from what we understand as well, Ohio State, along with Tennessee, provide a bigger stage to play on and that's something that interests him as well. As for the Vols, while the taking three quarterbacks last year is having to be addressed with most recruits at this stage, it hasn't seemed a big deal from those we've talked about Guarantano. Guarantano is expected at Tennessee March 22-23 after participating in the Rivals QB Challenge in Atlanta so we should get a good feel what he's thinking the day before he visits Tennessee. As of right now, all three teams seem to be in the race but Tennessee certainly has a chance to make an impact on his visit. We are hearing he'd like to do something before the summer begins.

"He said he wanted me to play on the defensive side and then like five minutes later the offensive coordinator came down and he was talking to me about playing on the offensive side of that ball; a little bit of wideout, a little bit of quarterback. So, I was talking to three coaches and we came up with the conclusion that if I were to come to Tennessee I would play on both sides of the ball."

"I think I just liked being there. It was a real family environment," Marhsall explained. "Everyone was close and it was just fun. It really wasn't a lot of talking about football. It was just two people talking the whole time. The tour was fun. "As soon as I got there it felt like home, really. I could see myself playing there in a couple of years. "I think trying on the jersey is always the best part because you get to see how good you look in that particular color. I think I look good in orange."

Marshall, who grew up a Vol fan because his father cheered on Tennessee when he was young, also had a good time and was able to meet a special Vol. "He loved it. He was nervous at first because he didn't know what to expect but after we started talking to the coaches he started to like it," Marhsall said of his father's visit. "Later that night we got to talk to Condredge Holloway. That was the highlight of his visit right there."

Marshall listed a top five of Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia Tech and Samford after his visit. Some schools, like Alabama, like him as a receiver, where Auburn has offered as a defensive back. The Tennessee offer has gone out as an athlete.

Overton, a four-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite, has racked up more than a dozen offers since early December and recently has emerged as one of Tennessee’s early top targets at wide receiver. He visited the Vols for the first time Saturday and said they impressed him enough to move to the top of his list alongside Clemson. A two-sport standout who also holds a basketball offer from Virginia Tech, Overton has said he’s hoping to play both football and basketball for at least his first year of college.

Brown, a top-200 prospect in the 247Sports Composite, has been committed to Florida State since September, but he’s not closing the door on other teams. He visited Tennessee for the first time Feb. 21, and he picked up an offer from the Vols while he was there. Brown said after the visit that he and his father already had discussed returning to Knoxville, perhaps as early as next month. He also claims offers from North Carolina, N.C. State, LSU and Michigan, among others, but UT now could be a legitimate contender.
