Because they had zero time to throw per VQ.

We know that our OL is pretty good so this gets me even more excited for how badass our DL is going to be. We may need to dumb down their rush so our OL can practice against normal humans.

Either that, or our o-line has major problems.

OL will be upper tier in the SEC. Our pass rush could be tops in the nation. 4 deep with NFL talent at DE. JRM and Kirkland coming in like rockets on blitzes. Shoop has to be in heaven right now.

We can use a speed package that consists of a 4 man front composed solely of DEs. Slide Barnett and Kongbo inside and take your pick on who you want to be on the outside. QBs aren't throwing on that.

Our pass rush is simply brutal. If we can force teams to passing situation (say we go up on them the way we did against OU and UF) they're in trouble. The talent we have is deadly and there's little to no drop off in the rotation.

I was just thinking about our '96 team when you had Leonard Little coming from one end, and Al Wilson blitzing from the other side. Could have been that way in 97, but if I remember correctly, they moved LL to outside linebacker that season.
