I'm by no means betraying Butch as a coach just because we lost today. We need to beat Florida, Georgia and Missouri. This may be A HUGE turning point for team 119. Butch is our coach. Make no mistake about it, he's no Dooley. We'll be ok. Sqrew the nay sayers, Tennessee will best our adversaries. Just wait y'all.

I wish i could share that optimism, but we're like a broken record.
This game was like watching 2014 TN vs. FL happen all over again.
IT is becoming painfully clear that butch can't win a game if playcalling is a crucial element.

Tough loss for sure. I was able to watch the first half and thought you guys were well on your way to a win against Big Mouth Bob. I know you guys are licking your wounds, but to be honest, the SEC as a whole hasn't been impressive in this young season so far.
As much as I hate OU, losing to them isn't shameful, although blowing that lead sucks arse. Losing to Toledo, and almost losing to Jack State is. No consolation there I understand, point being though, hang in there. Alot of weird shite has happened already in college football. The Vols definitely have the talent to bounce back and make some noise.
The East is still up for grabs. There isn't a clear cut favorite yet other than Georgia, and we know they will slip up along the way. Butch needs to develop that killer attitude, when you have a team down, don't let up and bury their asses. Pinkel suffers from this too.

Yeah I would too to be honest.
Pinkel has his flaws though, he still plays it too close to the vest for my comfort level. He is an over achiever though just going by recruiting ratings, and Butch, thus far, is an under achiever. I get why you guys are pissed off at him.
It was a tale of two halves. First half the Vols was kicking some Sooner arse, flying to the ball, punishing tackling. I didn't catch but parts of the second half, but the Vols looked like two different teams. I don't know what was said in that locker room during half time, but it didn't work. Thus why I don't think Butch has the killer attitude. Big Mouth Bob does though. When we sucked arse, he had no problem rolling up the score on us, and trust me, he would of on the Vols given the chance.
I hate the fact you guys lost. It gives Big Mouth Bob more ammo to run his mouth about the SEC. He has the killer attitude, but is also a huge douche bag. Again though, hang in there, the season is still young. Giving up on Butch won't do the Vols any good right now. The coaching carousel is never good for a program.

I just want Butch to own the loss. He's not doing that and just making excuses. I haven't given up, just wish he wasn't such a pussy. Cause the way he coached, then calling down Striker and then his post game comments just scream that he's a fricking beta bitch

Striker acted a fool after the game. He taunted the crowd, tossed his helmet and left it in the endzone and screamed "tell your recruits to come to OU." Another OU player flipped off the crowd.

Wow, nothing surprises me when it comes to low life Sooners. They take their lead from the top, their head coach. Big Mouth Bob is at the top of douche baggery among college coaches.

The only team that's ever done stuff like that to us is Florida because of the rivalry there and that tone was set by Spurrier when he was young and had a bigger mouth than Bob but there's longstanding bad blood between us so it at least makes some sense. But this game was just an OOC game not a longstanding rivalry. We've played a ton of P5 OOC games and I've not seen a single one act like that win or lose.

I understand that, but Butch should of stayed about the fray on Striker. I mean, that's small potatoes when it comes to a head coaches concerns. It shows the level of his maturity, imho.

As long as you have that asswipe coach of yours driving around drunk catching DUIs you might want to keep your mouth shut about anyone else.

Really? Is that what you got out of that? I know you don't like any criticism about the Vols program coming from opposing fanbases, but Pinkel has nothing to do with Butchs' over reaction. I wasn't even the one to bring this up, one of your own did.
