Hypothetical: if he was never fired how much longer would Fulmer have coached?

Thread in the rant made me wonder if he'd still be here and I kinda think he would but would be real close to hanging it up

Obviously performance would've had a big effect on it but let's assume he continued to put up decent to great seasons, winning the east every few years but never winning another SECCG or NC and gets to quit on his own terms

Long enough for us to not have derailed ourselves with kiffen/Dooley. Really if we had waited just a year or two longer we would not have had such a downward spiral.

It would be nice if we could just erase those two from Vols history. Kiffin is a arse! and Dooley is a JackAss! Lol!

Had Pete Carrol not bolted from his sanctions, I still think Kiffin would have worked out. Dooley was a coat hanger abortion

Sanctions would have been on their way to Knoxville if a fraction of the Kiffin rumors were true during his time here.

I'd say he would have lasted till 2010 or 2011.

I think he would have gotten sick of winning 7-8 games and not competing with Bama and decided it was time.

We would have been much more stable and could have transitioned into a new coach much better.
