Backup QBs don't make an impact.

Interesting... Dobbs made an impact last year. Backup QBs have made an impact for 4 straight years now for UT.

1.) Byron Cowart - We needed a pass rusher and he gives us that with Lawson and Lambert

2.) Ian Shannon - Hutchinson has proved a bust and we want Carlton only on kicking duties so I expect Ian to lock down starting punter slot

3.) Jovon Robinson - Could be starter but will definitely split carries with Roc and Peyton

4.) Darius Slayton - We are looking for WRs not named Duke so he will have a chance

5.) Jeff Holland - Again pass rushers was a huge need so I see him being a 3rd down guy

Other guys to watch
Maurice Swain
Jordan Colbert - is gonna be a beast in a few seasons
Carlton Davis
Kerryon Johnson
Ryan Davis

RB Scarlett, he is the home run threat that is missing from our RB rotation now.

OL Brandon Sandifer or Martez Ivey, depending on what OL coach decides to do with Rod Johnson (OG or OT), one of these two could get into the mix on the Gator OL.

For Auburn, it will be Jovon Robinson and nobody else will be close (disregarding potential injury to anybody).

RB Derius Guice - I expect Guice to get carries whenever Fournette needs a breather. Should make an impact as a pass-catcher as well.

DB Donte Jackson - Should see time as a nickel corner but his real impact will be in the return game.

I'm hoping one of the freshman WRs steps up and plays early - hopefully Ridley. Other than that, probably Bo S. at RB.

We have some seriously good DBs form last year who should be ready to go. All are talented and extremely fast (track guys), which should help against those deep passes we've been getting beat on.
