Cam stock is dropping like a rock.

I know that Fournette is going to start at LSU this year and tear it up. I also think that Cam starts at LT for Bama this year and makes a big impact. Who had the best career? I know it's early to tell but I'm bored and it's on my mind.
If Robinson is staring for Bama at any point this year y'all are in serious trouble. That kid will get worked by experienced SEC DEs. He needs a year to get it together.

Cam Robinson is going to be a major disappointment.
You read it here first.

Cam Robinson has the "potential" to be a dominant O-lineman down the road. But, anyone that has watched him play this year can attest that he flat out isn't ready to contribute as a true freshman. He needs a year in S&C, improve his nutrition, and most of all needs coaching on his techniques. If he works hard and is highly motivated, his potential is unlimited and he will have a great career.
Fournette was ready to be a contributor his JR year in high school.
I, personally, think Robinson has the higher ceiling and has the potential to be a higher NFL draft pick than LF, but right now, LF is far more advanced and ready to make an immediate impact.

I sure as hell hope Robinson is starting for Alabama at LT this year That speaks more about your current talent than how good Robinson is
Alabama has more talent than anyone in the country, new to recruiting?

After watching Cam Robinson get trucked by Rashaan Evans in that all star game I'm going to say LF. Both talented but LF's game is almost flawless

Better keep Rashaan Evans away from him. He pushed CRob's shite in at the UA.

If cam starts for y'all then y'all will have a rough season. He didn't fare well against equal talent.

Lo Carter pushed it in for sure.

That guy that pegged CR to RT and compared him to Fluker nailed it. Hes not a LT, at least not right now. Could play LT down the line and play it well but RT is where he'll start out.
I use Greg Robinson as the litmus for him. Different styles of kids as Greg is a much better athlete while Cam is more mauler for now but both came to college extremely raw and unrefined. If Cam works on his craft like Greg then skys the limit.
To answer the op, Fournette and easily. Also wouldn't bet on CR being drafted higher just yet. If he's not a LT then he will not go top 5 and Fournette will. As for bank accounts the early money is slim in difference. 2nd contract depends on how they perform

But Fluker was one of the best OL in the NFL as a rookie. It Cam is anywhere near that, I'll be stoked.

I agree he shouldn't start at all next year. I watched him play Central (BR) in the playoffs this year and he was not impressive at all. He's been able to be more physical than most of his competition due to his size advantage, but when you put equal talent and size against him, he's been exposed numerous times

Which was Fluker at the same age. And be could have played LT at Alabama if not for Jones or Kounadjio. He proved that by shifting over for the Chargers for a few games this year.

No. He didn't do well playing LT. His success at the Chargers was all at RT. He could have been a LT in college, but he wouldn't have been as dominant as on the right side.
To answer this thread it would be Fournette with the better chances of a more successful freshman year.
With Collins coming back and only having to replace Turner, our O line will be damn good. The transition is much easier for runningbacks.
Though I think Robinson will have a great career.

I thought he played well enough, considering he never took a snap at LT in college.
Regardless, if he could be another Fluker at RT it will do wonders for Alabama's running game.

He won't start, but no doubt see his name called a good bit.

Even worse than saying LF will start. But by sophmore/junior years both will be tearing it up

Yea, RB are very often able to handle the transition when linemen are not as freshman. The answer to this is an argument about position rather than player but asked a different way you will determine that Fournette is one of the best football players to come out of Louisiana in several years maybe more. It is true that Cam Robinson and the boys from Ala. recruited out of N. Louisiana could be a bust as at least 1 of them failed to makr thr La. all state team.
