Does it really matter where LSU finishes? You still have Les for a coach and will lose to Alabama.

LSU has 5 more commits than Alabama does. Considering Saban likely will get the #1 ILB and #2 OLB, plus they have legit shots at a few other 5* players, I wouldn't presume that lead holds out on its own.

if you think fishing for compliments (or validation) gives a fan base a bad name then every damn fan base on here has a bad name. over 90% of the posts on this board fall into that category.
I understand not liking LSU's fishing posts but have you seen the overwhelming number of Bama posters. they beg us to anoint them as the best at everything. how about the poor aggies? they are so desperate for validation that they spin every little thing into a "look at me" post.

Don't worry, this is the SEC Rant. Some other moron with make a thread from another fan base that is equally as stupid if not more in the next few minutes. This board doesn't shed any positive light on anyone for sure. All the SEC looks like pretentious shite heads.

Bama may finish extremely strong and legitimately get that top spot. If LSU finishes like they hope, they will most likely get it. It's definitely not a stretch for Bama at this point if you look at what's very plausible left on their board.

They have quite a few targets that haven't committed. The number one class is up for grabs for quite a few schools.

Never said that. Alabama just has a lot more room (LSU is at 22, Alabama at 17).
