That was y'all's line for Treadwell having the cash. I figured it applied here, too.

Utterly false. We haven't paid big bucks for any recruit since Massie, and that was five years ago. Nutt pretty much quit after that, and Freeze knows how to get croots without having to flat out buy them.

Here's a LINK to a summary of schools with the most NCAA uncovered* violations historically. Regarding SEC teams, Texas A&M and Auburn are tied for first with 7 all-time.

*note that uncovered violations probably constitute less than 1% of all violations

You can't really count our old infractions.. Texas was cheating far worse than we were back in the 70s/80s and we had to do what we could to keep up.

SMU was the most blatant about it back in the day. Although, the firebird we bought Eric Dickerson was rather large.

I have no idea who the dirtiest current program is. What happened at Auburn and Urban Meyer at UF was really bad, but now, I'm not sure.

Auburn and Alabama EASILY have the dirtiest CULTURES in the SEC. By that I mean, THE CONDITIONS EXIST which make it far more likely that corruption will occur. It's in the air that they breathe there, hyper-competitiveness, loathing of their rivals, a -win-at-all-costs-attitude and LOTS of alumni too close to the programs WHO USE THEIR PROXIMITY TO THE PROGRAM AS SOCIAL STATUS LEVERAGE.So if either gets a sketchy HC they are just a day away from violations.

story for all you fanatics: high profile recruit gets some versed right before surgery. We're talking to him about his recruitment. He said every SEC program but one offered him some sort of "extra benefit."

If I had to guess I would say Auburn and Ole Miss but theres no way to tell. I firmly believe all schools cheat. Its one of those things where if one team does it they all to. Im not sure if it has a signifigant effect though.

Nationally, CLEMSON is the dirtiest.

Not even close. And that's from personal experience.

do we include negative recruiting in the 'dirty' category? Because Clemson is notorious for that. Also auburn as well, and many others. You know which program recruits say does not go negative? Bama. Raekwon Mcmillan most recently spoke to this, specifically naming auburn and Clemson as going negative (against Bama) but that Bama did not. Oddly enough, apparently Urbs was not going negative in that instance. There have been numerous other recruits since saban got there that have said the Bama coaches only talk about Bama to them
