They've been in melt mode since Isaiah Wilson. It is marvelous

I still find it funny that we apparently have to pay a 5* recruit from Georgia to stay in Georgia to attend one of the historically top programs in the SEC with all of his friends from Georgia.

But if he goes to Michigan to play for the coach that flew his young daughter with him to the Georgia boonies on a recruiting visit and hires one of the Lee County coaches as an analyst, it's all kosher.

I mean glass houses, pots and kettles, yankee carpetbaggers, etc

Michigan is the Coach K of college athletic programs. Clean image, but in reality is just as scummy as everyone else.

This kind of stuff needs to be made illegal.

Why? I think it's a good idea

Because when grown men go to such silly lengths to get an 18 to go to their school, it opens up a can of worms. He didn't hire that guy because he really wanted him or because he thought he would be a great analyst. He hired him to get an 18 year old to go to his school, and he added undue pressure and responsibility on that 18 year old who now feels responsible for that guy's job. Does that coach keep his analyst job if Solomon goes to UGA or Miami? No, he loses his job and now he's out of both jobs. These kids have enough pressure without all that.

Aubrey isn't responsible for anyone but himself. Michigan is free to hire his coach if they think it increases their odds. They're the one one's shelling out a salary and scholarship.

Oh, he feels responsible, whether he should or not. He's beholden to that school even if he decides tha is where he wants to go. Time to end this practice.

Every school does it. Hell one of them is currently the head coach at Ole Miss.

We've probably done it. That doesn't make it right.

Just for the record, Michigan has not hired any coach from Lee County as an analyst, assistant, etc. This info is pure folly.

You guys should also be getting Collins from them. UM has turned their attention to Oliver Martin now, which basically means they've given up on Collins.

I think it's down to Bama and UM, with UM leading. I think his mom is all UM now.
