I wonder how much of Tennessee being on top is because they are pretty much promising him a chance to start at quarterback from day one from what I understand. I also wonder how much that list might change if Auburn and other teams became desperate enough to make similar promises

Tennessee is telling him they didn't take a QB last cycle because they were saving the spot for him.

I'm sure things would change if others promised the same thing but I will add that Butch has told TG that he is the reason VOLS didn't sign a QB last cycle and that he was holding the spot for him. I doubt that's true but that's what Butch is telling him and Gibson seems to mention that nearly every time he talks about Tennessee.

I wouldn't play for a coach who told me that. That coach is either lying or stupid, and both are bad.
I guess it works with some prospects, though
