Sean White will redshirt this year then start the next 4 years. Johnson will stay as the backup.

Huge fan of White, but no. JJ is next, he could start this year and be good. If White starts first, then I'm ok with it, bc that would mean he's an absolute STUD

This^^^

Jeremy Johnson would be starting for every other team in the SEC this year. If Marshall hadn't took us to the SEC and NC, JJ would be starting this year at AU.

Count me on the side that does not see 9-3 as great. Especially when the previous coach was able to go 12-0, that is where I would put my bar.

Cincy was 10-3 his last 2 seasons there.

But I agree, he still has a lot to prove

Running the 2nd string offense vs the first team defense?.... he then threw a nice TD late when he switched to first team O.

JJ is probably better than what several SEC teams will trot out at QB next year -- LSU, Vandy, Ark, UK, and maybe Bama, UF.

Also, how many QB's is Butch gonna have on the field in 2015?

Until he can find one that can play. I like Dobbs long term though, I will say that. Kid is too smart and too athletic to not contribute eventually.

Queen are pretty much pro-style QBs.

Yeah..... Queen is not a pro-style. Tebow type body and he can scramble.

Looked extremely shaky when he played last year IMHO.

extremely shaky?... what were you watching?

29/41 (70%)...422 yards... 6 TDs... 2 INTs... 47 rush yards. Not bad for a TF.

dude played well against a couple cupcakes... actually completed a pass against UGA (granted, anyone with a pulse could do that last year).

He is rated a Pro-style QB and is a passer that can run if needed. Gibson is an athlete that can pass, more like Marshall and we don't have another QB committed or on the roster like that.

He's actually a pretty good spread QB and run the spread since he was in 4th grade. He'll be successful at which ever one he does in college.

with his experience running this type of offense in high school, he should transition well to what auburn wants to do. He can run when needed, and has enough size/athleticism to hang in the pocket and make throws... his high school team doesn't give him a lot of help sometimes.

i like queen... i like him better than sean white, who was a camp/7v7 hero... but lacks the natural athleticism to take advantage of every piece of auburn's offense.

the arm injury worries me though... i know he didn't need TJS, but it's still a concern down the line, imo.

JC Shurburtt says VOLS are definitely the team to beat right now for Gibson and AU/tOSU are now looking for backup plans at QB.

No worries. His dad said he threw some during the spring game and looked pretty good with no pain. They followed Dr. Andrews advice to the letter.

yeah, i get that he doesn't have pain right now, and throwing a baseball is totally different than throwing a football.... but elbow issues are just scary, and he's only a high school JR... we may never hear another thing about arm issues, but who knows what might happen over the next 3 to 6 years.

The actual film on him. Did not look good at times.

Quit just looking at stats and look at the actual throws.
