I don't think one has anything to do with the other.

It seems like it is an Arkansas & Texas battle for Whaley.

Arkansas offered Boyd back in October, so it is not like Bert and Co. just started recruiting Boyd.

Arkansas would take 2, maybe even 3 RBs in this class. Bert has a history of having a couple 1k yard backs in a season, and has done so here at Arkansas with Williams and Collins.

Dude, get your facts straight. Boyd committed a long time ago. We told Speights, Williams, and Whaley that we had one spot left, available for the first of the three to commit. Williams committed. Shortly AFTER that, Whaley commited to UGA. Recently, Whaley decomitted and Boyd set of an official to Arkansas.

Except for the fact that Whaley had been silently committed to UGA for months. Good try though

That silent was actually made public. As in, it was stated he had been a silent.

Silent commits are like silent girlfriends. Is she really your girlfriend if she promises she's committed just please don't tell anyone?

Those are almost as solid as real commits.

Or as solid as saying someone pleading to commit to said school, but saying...nah...

Was this before or after Williams was committed to TCU?

While he was committed to tcu.

Whaley was after Williams decommitted from tcu but hadn't publically flipped yet.

Is it that unbelievable that people who actually have sources in Texas HS football know more about what is going on with Texas HS recruits than you do?

I haven't seen any Aggies insisting they have the scoop on Georgia or Arkansas HS recruits.

But have it your way, he won't be a Bulldog anyway.

No. It's just a tad unbelievable that Whaley tried to commit and a&m wouldn't let him. Still doesn't add up.

Why is that so unbelievable? We have 2 spots in this year's class and they were taken by 2 similar level prospects.

The only thing strange is that some rantards think it is strange.

Yes that is recruiting. What it doesn't look like is that Whaley tried to commit at all. It looks like how it usually plays out. One prospect passed so another was given the option to commit. Why would he try to commit if they told him they were only going to take 1 more Rb and the other was already committed? If he wanted to commit why didn't he do it before Williams? And Whaley has been taking visits and big on other peoples radar during all this. Just doesn't add up. Where is this article? I want to read it.

Don't think so. He is declining his official to Ole Miss and Alabama. I think it is between LSU and Arkansas.
