Arkansas is a great fit for Whaley. If UGA can't get him back on board he'd be crazy to pick UT over Arky

There should definitely be a lot of negatives going against Texas. You've got Strong's shaky job status if he doesn't win next year, switching over to the speread and they actually had two pretty good freshmen that you will be starting out behind.

However the will always have that aura of being Texas. Sometimes that's enough to get a kid to commit even in the down years.

Yea, some people can't get enough of that stench, but I always found it offensive.

What's nuts is these are 17ish year olds. Their standard for comparison dates back a whole 5 years or so. Before long, mediocrity will be associated with UT for many of them. Heck, their recruiting this year is abysmal.

So is he all hog? Since he decommitted I have not followed, UGA has turned their attention to juco RB Justin Crawford and of course keeping Holyfield on board.

Whoever he commits to will probably have to battle Richt and Thomas Brown until signing day.

That's interesting to hear. Our recruiting guys have been selling him as our backup plan if we miss out on Whaley, White and Porter. Guess he's not anymore.

Crawford will be OV'ing in Athens after the dead period ends, I would not call him a UGA lock but their seems to be mutual interest.

Yea, I've also gathered that and he looks like a good one.

Sorry our coach didn't think he was good enough. After hearing him talk in very happy we didn't take him, he is an idiot.
