A&M only signed 10 defensive recruits this year, and 9 of them were 4 star or better. (Not counting Ced Collins, who is never going to play football again, but we honored his commitment anyway. He'll count against the 25, but he'll immediately go on medical redshirt.)

5th best star average.
If we cut our 8 lowest ranked signees and had a "normal sized class" (25), our star rating would probably jump up to 3rd.

UT= 2 5stars and 16 4 stars
LSU=2 5stars and 14 4 stars

You are stupid. Holy shite, I don't even know where to begin, A&M and Florida state would still be third and forth. You are looking at stars instead of composite scores which we totally kick your arse

You take your 23 recruits with an average rating of 92.33 and I'll take UT's 32 recruits with an average of 89.47 (after removing Dews from the equation).
While your players have a higher average score of 2.86 (3.2% of UT's average score), than mine...I've got 9 more players to put in the rotation. Let's put just those players out in the sun in Gainesville in early September (or Baton Rouge, for that matter). I'll take the extra 9 players over the extra 3.2% rating.

The vols really haven't had much to cheer about in a looooooong time. I say congrats on a good class and enjoy it as much as possible before youre forced to watch another shitty regular season.
