Actually it was 102. Accounts for our rankings, the services also made an exception we got 1* each up to 100 and then 4.5 2* in order to make our higher than everyone else's pure star total.

Yep, I remember UT's last HC brought in 12 4* prospects in the 2010 class plus a 5*....the 2011 class he brought in another 12 4* prospects...the 2012 class another 10 4* prospects were brought in...

Not all four stars are created equal. The difference is Dooley brought in low rated ****s. Butch is bringing in top 300 players.
This is our best class in LONG time.

Yep. 20 four stars and 2 five stars, if you use each recruits highest rating out of 247, ESPN, Scout, and Rivals.

If we cut our 8 lowest ranked signees and had a "normal sized class" (25), our star rating would probably jump up to 3rd.

So because we were able to sign 32 players while no one else could, we're not allowed to use it to our advantage? Hmmm....seems to me if LSU had done the same, we woulnd't hear the end of it
