Still irrelevant to what Moton is. He isn't the gem you think he is. Not trying to disrespect him in any way but he was never deserving of a 4/5 star ranking.

He didn't get dropped as a high school FOOTBALL prospect because of his poor CLASSROOM performance. Geez man, you're better than this

Another rare occurance of grades affecting rankings would be Brandon Martin who committed to LSU but went to JUCO. I just don't think that's the case here.

As a 3-4 NT. He would've rode the bench there for a very long time. Even Alabama fans didn't understand his recruitment. And guess what? He didn't end up at Alabama or Mississippi State. If those schools wanted him he'd be there.

Trust me. If Bama and State wanted him badly they would've got him in.

Why are you so adamant about down playing this kid. He's a stud, and you're not convincing anyone otherwise.

This is once again what your mods are trying to feed you, but isn't the case. He was an 87 3-star because he regressed as a player, he was not the same as a senior as he was as a sophomore when he was tearing up things. He is far from a "Stud" and wont be ready to play right away by any means.

he was a top 100ish recruit before his grades tanked his rankings

Once again, this is completely false. He fell in the rankings due to his PLAY on the field itself, he wasn't the same type of prospect as a senior compared to a sophomore. Our mods repeatedly said this throughout his recruitment, his grades were ALWAYS an issue, not something that popped up in his senior year.

247 does NOT drop guys like 400 spots in the rankings due to JUST grades.

and there are also players who get a ranking hit after grade problems and other stuff come out. it definitely happens

It's not a 400 spot hit...he dropped so much because he regressed a lot.

Talent regression doesn't see sharp drops in rankings. they're steady.

It hurts the legitimacy of the ranking and the analysts pride too much to drop most players that need to be.

He played half a season and still put up good #'s

Just look at Keion Joyner.

LINK

He was considered one of the best LBs in the country. 247 dropped him from like 70 to almost 600. It is certainly not the norm to do this, but it happens.

That wasn't for a talent regression, it's because he was kicked off his team.

Am I being trolled? I really can't tell with Yall anymore.
