Arkansas has been counting Ramirez as a commitment for the last few months. Had to talk to Bielema to make everything official.

pretty sure he could start for us today

What a weird recruitment. I remembered someone actually started a Santos Ramirez commitment thread on the RB back in July. Well, glad that the kid finally landed somewhere.

The more Lousiana kids for us the better in my opinion. High quality of football played down there.

He was a backup plan for some highly rated guys for LSU, but that doesn't mean he can't play. Nice get, he should contribute next year for y'all.

I think he's going to be really good. I've liked him throughout.

The kid is a stud. Will be a 3 year starter for yall.

Keep saying this about kids this year and I believe it, any other year he would have been recruited heavily by us.

Good player who LSU wasn't going to take because of how stacked LA is.

LSU didn't step in and try to talk him out of it when he committed to Arky. I don't think it has impact on Hootie, but it could definitely be spun that way.

Definitely in the "Rivals" era. We've got six commits out of Louisiana this year alone. In the previous 12 years of Rivals combined we have only signed 11 guys from Louisiana.

Definitely a bigger shift in recruiting focus towards the state than either of that last two staffs.

Which is a good thing in my opinion. A much higher quality of football is played down there than in Oklahoma or Missouri.

Congrats, I really like this kid. Miles better pull a #1 recruiting class or the fans will turn on him. He's letting way too many instate kids leave while waiting for out of state commits that may never come.. North Louisiana seems to be getting ingored by Les this year and there's tins if talent up there.

Ramirez dropped LSU after the writing was on the wall for him. We had higher rated kids on our board IN STATE.

I don't understand your frustration.
