Exactly. Like I said earlier, this is PR window dressing for Auburn. Trying to say "look at how nice we are compared to those mean guys across the state"...

This shouldn't be surprising though. Its been their PR strategy coming out of the Cam debacle. Its a pretty smart move though. Not gonna beat us head to head.

Wow. You would think that he would have been made aware of that minor piece of information. I mean...he's only the HC after all. That's the kind of stuff that makes you question who really is in control down there. I don't see any other school doing that without the input of the guy running their football program.

It is stupid. They were awarded a scholarship for being good at football. Shouldn't they be required to work hard at that? Students who get academic scholarships sure are.

Who cares what he said maybe he mispoke because he was working on no sleep and had been relentlessly recruiting for the psat couple of weeks. I find it funny that there were multiple Alabama posters that posted about Chizik's mistake. Why are y'all so entrenched in what Auburn does? It comes from both sides here, Auburn and Alabama fans need to take a step back and realize how dumb they look bitching about these miniscule things.

Multiple times a day it is thrown in our face that Chizik is some kind of saint and Saban is the devil who hates kids and wants to squash the hopes and dreams of many of them. Since yesterday it has been written about and posted by AU fans numerous times that Chizik and Auburn are awarding kids 4 year scholarships and how that is so much more classy than the mean ole Saban. I just find it funny that perhaps the man getting all this praise didn't even know this was going on.
I can assure you I would never had brought it up were it not for the fact that it was thrown in our face by the media and internet posters.
