How will Saban circumvent the rule when the NCAA enforces 4 year scholarships ?
1. Have T-Town PD plant drugs on future processed players.
2. Have the Redneck Mafia slam cardoors on players legs.
3. Players just disappear and show up in some 3rd World Nation and decide to give up football
4. Tells the NCAA to go screw themselves.

Auburn fans are terrible people, the lot of them. Y'all are so butthurt over Alabama, it's unreal.

This is a valid point. Eventually both Saban and Petrino will find the loophole. Hell they could probably drop a mill a piece to have a lawyer find the loopholes for them.

Its not going to change anything. Kids who are buried on the depth chart are still going to transfer out. Auburn moving to this is strictly a recruiting ploy. It obviously doesn't work to well, as yesterday proved.

Auburn could afford to offer 4 year scholarships this year, mainly because ya'll couldn't find 25 players to sign this year and will probably still be under the 85 limit this fall. Amazing that ya'll can't get and keep players.
And it didn't seem like your coach even knew Auburn was signing players to 4 year scholorships...
Ya'll are in good hands down there.

Revoke the 4 year scholarship for violation of team rules.
All of your high and mighty 4 year scholarships that your morally superior coach is handing your morally superior recruits have provisions in them that state they can be revoked for violating team rules.
I, for one, look forward to the next piece of whiny arse legislation put into place to stop Nick Saban from doing what he does best.
It won't work.

It helps if you actually tell the head coach this is being done.

Chizik didn't know they were handing out 4 year deals?

That'll be 2-3 Championships from now...Saban himself might have been processed by then!

Not per his PC yesterday. Somebody in the AD had to tell him.

Auburn coach Gene Chizik initially indicated he offered all one-year renewable scholarships this year. An athletics department spokesman later clarified that Auburn provided five-year scholarships.
"It's going to be really interesting to see how that unfolds," Auburn coach Gene Chizik said. "Everybody's got different ideas on it. Certainly if one school chooses to do it and another doesn't, it creates some sort of advantage or disadvantage depending on which one you are."

I guarantee you Chizik hates that garbage. He knows he can't compete with guys who are eating donuts and sitting on a free 4 year ride.
