The bottom line is Gus's offense has been very successful with pro-style QBs and QBs that can run. White is plenty mobile enough to scramble when needed.

Gus had the #1 offense in the country with Paul Smith a non running QB at Tulsa.

Don't remember that, but I do know that their coach preferred a guy that didn't even qualify for the Elite 11 until he told them he was going to LSU.

Yeah, Alabama doesn't take back-up plans or anything. Brandon Harris' passing ability isn't whats getting him notoriety on the recruiting trail anyways.
