to date, all we know is that Butch is a better recruiter than Saban.

They went head to head on Hurd and Kelly Jr. By my count, 2 points Butch, Saban 0.

Cornwell is definitely a VOLOCK

"The visit to Tennessee went really good," Cornwell said. "Tennessee has a great program. It's a special place. Obviously, they are going to win. I think Tennessee is a ticking time bomb. I am not sure how long it will take, but I think they will win a national title soon.

quote:

The NFL is a big influence for Cornwell. He grew up a Colts fan, and attended Colts games for seven consecutive years, and patterns his game after some of the greats. "I see myself as a combination of Ben Rothlesberger and Tom Brady, but of course Peyton Manning is my favorite."

“It was my favorite recruiting trip by far,” said Cornwell. “It was just the personal touch that Alabama gave me. Alabama was already one of my favorite schools recruiting me and to get that personal touch from them was awesome. I got to meet all of the coaches and I am starting to feel like I have a lot of friends there.”

quote:

So many things stand out about Alabama. They have an excellent coaching staff. The wisdom and years of knowledge is all there and it’s just an all-star staff starting with coach Saban. Every detail is important and why they win is very obvious once you get in the program. There is no way to fail if you buy into to the Coach Saban program.”

That jump was huge. #1 player in the state now over Frazier. Very nice.

Just wish they would give Day the bump he deserves as well but I doubt that comes until next season when he is the full-time starter now that Alter is gone.

Why would he want to go to UT and play for 2 different coaches while losing to his rivals 4 straight years?

Why would he wanna go to Bama?

Oh I don't know-- maybe he'd like to actually win a conference game in his college career?

Butch needs to ask him why would he want to go to Bama, where a guy like Tyler Bray would easily be the best passer in their history LOL

At Tennessee, he's just another in a long line of stellar quarterbacks with beastly receivers to throw to
