No he doesn't. You don't HAVE to sign on National Signing Day. It's just a tradition that the media started. Terrell Pryor IIRC didn't sign until almost April during his recruitment.

Wouldn't the same apply to Virgil?

Virgil was an EE. Offering an EE a greyshirt is asking a kid to pay for the spring, the summer, and the fall out of pocket. He doesn't have to enroll in the spring but it's not like Mullen wasn't aware that that was the plan until 2 weeks ago.

You act like Ole Miss is the one that went to Twitter and the media when Virgil and Liggins were asked to greyshirt as opposed to their coaches and parents.

If you don't think the fans most definitely went to Twitter and the media then you do not know how to read.

This is exactly why it is retarded to slam another school for doiong anything remotely close to this.

Eventually your school is going to do it as well, and then you end up looking like a fool.

There is nothing wrong with extending a greyshirt offer to a recruit. It is their decision if they want to accept it.

Virgil's coach and parents are the ones that took to twitter and made it a story. Journalists weren't RT'ing Ole Miss fans, they were RT'ing his mom and his coach.

What Ole Miss did to Walls is what you did to Liggins so nobody should throw stones at that. Offering a greyshirt isn't a big deal and it happens all the time. Virgil was a pretty big frick up on Mullen's part IMO though

Wasn't Liggins the guy that wasn't even going to class? Pretty sure the coaches even stopped by his school when he was skipping out on it.

ETA: Oh look, Virgil just got offered by Oklahoma. Mullins really killed his football career.

I understand it was a letdown for the kid that had been committed for a long time, but just because he is graduating early doesn't mean he has any less time to find a home than Walls now does.

I honestly can't believe WIO said that the difference is that Freeze finds them a place to go and Mullen doesn't.

It classifies as you are a stupid mother fricker that doesn't understand irony thread, all while teaching the very valuable life lesson of not throwing stones while living in a glass house.
