Martin and Mickey had elite athletcism at his size basically
And they were top 10-15 players in high school. Simmons obviously handles the ball better than them and is more athletic which is why he's 1. That still doesn't make him an elite ball handler; like I said he's above average for his size.

Martin was, Mickey most definitely was not. Mickey was in the 30s and 40s and a 4-star. Still #1 overall is A LOT different than outside the Top 10 entirely.

Which was the entire point. There are handfuls of dudes that size with that kind of raw athleticism but rarely anyone ever with the ability to handle the ball like a PG at that size with that athleticism, that's what makes him #1, period.

Good lord you cant be this stupid. The dude is an assist machine and handles the ball as good as any PG in this class just about. Saying he's an above average ball handler for his size is like saying Dennis Rodman was an above average rebounder for his size. Not giving him near enough credit for how good he actually is with the ball in his hands. The dude at 6'9 225+ can run full sprint down the court (faster than anyone) with the ball and still has the vision to make an amazing pass in the end (or go to the rim).
