Bama don't have a back this year like Yeldon last year and dont have a big time WR either.

I'd say Earnest Robinson, Ardarius Stewart (unless he plays DB), and Jason Smith can all be considered big time receivers. It won't be that close

I'd say this game hinges on how well Jeremy Johnson plays. He certainly has the tools around him w/ those guys you listed along with current FSU commit Marquez White.

Can't argue this. Really weak RB class for the state this year.

lolwut?

Last year AL had a stud QB but it was a really weak WR class. I expect them to sling it around a good bit this year with Johnson at QB and the WR's they have.

I'm curious to see how well Smith and Echols-Luper do with making the transition from QB.

Smith will be fine IMO. He played WR until his junior year.

Ask anyone close to the Prattville program. They are no longer Alabama friendly down there. Our pipeline seemed to dry up over night.

Is there any particular reason why? Generally if a HS coach is against his players attending a particular school it's because he feels like that school treated one of his players badly in the past or because he attended a rival of that school, i.e. their new HC is an Auburn graduate.

Come on req.. you cant just laugh at facts and not explain why they are funny. Oxford and Ole Miss are nothing like general MS, thus your sig makes sense. And please explain why kids with SEC offers, who commit to OM early each year, get passed on in the MS selection. There is a reason Freeze is a USM alum and its because if you want to be a football coach then you dont go to OM because we dont offer that degree, thus the state of MS is full of coaches who are non OM grads aka OM hatas. Its not every player. You cant turn down an elite kid at a big school, but if you go to a small school like Moncrief, Johnson or Bouldin do then you get left off if you commit early to OM.

You make a fair point.

Who is in charge of picking the teams?

IMO there isn't a nickels worth of difference between the 4 - Bouldin, Johnson, Mix, and Flowers. But I certainly don't see how you take 2 without the others.

Overall Mississippi produces jack shite for OL talent, particularly OT talent - Who was the last sure thing coming out that wasn't extremely raw or didn't have major questionmarks? Aaron Morris - then back to Sherrod?

The kid Taylor from Callaway is the next one. The rare absolutely elite OG prospect...

Yep, if MS consistently produced an OL class like this years our programs would be in a lot better shape.

Since he's an MAIS player, he's ineligible to play. Same story for Clayborn
